Looking after them
Plating is a surface layer, so treat it gently and it lasts. Put them on last, after perfume, hairspray and moisturiser. Take them off before showering, swimming or the gym — chlorine and sweat are what wear plating down fastest. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing and keep them in a pouch rather than loose in a dish.
Before you buy
These are plated base metal, not solid gold, and the stones are cubic zirconia rather than diamonds. If you have a known metal sensitivity, particularly to nickel, we'd suggest trying a short wear first. For healed piercings only.
