Looking after them
Pearls and plating dislike the same things. Put these on after perfume, hairspray and hand cream, and take them off before showering, swimming or exercising. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Store them in a pouch — loose in a jewellery dish is how the surface gets scratched.
